Civil Process & Enforcement
The Pennsylvania State Constable’s Office, Nazareth – Lehigh Valley, is responsible for service and execution of valid civil cases and court orders issued by any Pennsylvania Court, or, from any Court outside of the Commonwealth which requires in-state service. Civil services generally include Landlord/Tenant actions, service of civil complaints, Writs of Possession (Eviction), Writs of Execution (Financial/Property), and enforcement of specialized property orders (Easements/Right-of-Way).
Our Office does not provide legal advice and cannot determine the validity of court orders which are not assigned to our Office; enforcement is mandatory upon receiving a valid and proper writ.

Geographic Jurisdiction
The lawful authority of Pennsylvania State Constables’ (and Deputy Constables’) to serve and execute a civil court order/matter is valid throughout the entire Commonwealth without exception, so long as the court having jurisdiction is based in the United States. For matters originating from a Pennsylvania Court, Pennsylvania State Constables’ (and Deputy Constables’) may serve and execute a civil court order/matter within surrounding states under certain conditions. While this Office maintains statewide jurisdiction, our primary area of responsibility is the greater Lehigh Valley, handling routine and expedited local service requests.

Our Office provides professional and reliable service for civil cases for all courts, attorneys, organizations, and individuals. If you would like to request our Office provide civil service on your behalf, please see the following steps.
- 1. Contact Us: Contact our Office using the ‘GET STARTED’ button below, or by phone.
- 2. Required Documents: You must have original or certified copies of the documents to be served. Documents must be valid, and from a recognized court or judiciary within the United States. You must also have a current address or valid last-known address (if service for an individual).
- 3. Specifics of Service: Specify whether service is routine or urgent, and whether it is a local, state, or federal civil case/matter. Briefly explain your requirements of service, including attempts, locating, and what constitutes “successful” service. Please also specify the manner and handling of the Return of Service.
- 4. Costs of Services: All judicial services are subject to payment requirements as detailed by the Fee Sheet of this Office.
