Attempt To Locate
& Verification Service
This specialized service is the necessary investigative step taken to locate individuals (defendants, judgment debtors, or witnesses) or verify the existence and location of property. This work is essential for the filing and successful execution of warrants, subpoenas, writs, and other court actions.
Scope
The Pennsylvania State Constable’s Office, Nazareth – Lehigh Valley and it’s sworn peace officers, utilize proprietary resources, public records, informants, and fieldwork to support judicial processes. It is important to note that this service is for the purpose of criminal justice only, and is not provided as a private investigative service for non-criminal-justice matters.
Attempt to Locate & Verification Services Provided by This Office
Attempt To Locate
We perform active searches to find individuals and qualifying property. This includes Fugitive/Warrant Locates for outstanding criminal mandates, Process Service Locates to ensure papers are served successfully, and Debtor Locates to find judgment debtors necessary for executing financial Writs.
Verifications
Before service attempts are made, or as necessary prior to filing certain cases, our Office provides verifications. This includes address/residency verification to confirm an address is current and occupied by the intended subject, and property verification to confirm the location and status of assets subject to levy or repossession under a court order.

The successful outcome of a locate effort depends heavily on the accuracy of the initial information provided to our Office.
- 1. Contact Us: Contact our Office using the ‘GET STARTED’ button below, or by phone.
- 2. Required Documents: You must have original or certified copies of the drafts, documents, or filings pertinent to the request.
- 3. Essential Information: We require mandatory information from the requesting party, such as the subject’s full name, date of birth, last known address, previous employment, and any available identifiers.
- 4. Outcome: The service concludes with a formal report (a Verification or Locate Report) provided to the requesting agency or attorney, indicating success, failure, or a verified status.
- 5. Costs of Services: This specialized service is separate and billable. Please refer to our Fee Sheet for the ATL&V fee schedule.
