Right To Know Law Notice

The Pennsylvania State Constable’s Office Nazareth – Lehigh Valley, is a local agency subject to the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101 et seq. (hereafter “RTKL”). This law provides for public access to government records.
1. Your Right to Know

The RTKL provides citizens with the right to access public records of Commonwealth public agencies. Records are presumed to be public unless an exception applies.

2. How to Submit a Request

To request a public record from the Pennsylvania State Constable’s Office Nazareth – Lehigh Valley, please submit your request in writing. Your request should identify or describe the records sought with sufficient specificity to enable our office to ascertain which records are being requested.

4. Appeals

If a request is denied, the requester has the right to appeal the denial. Appeals may be made to the Pennsylvania Office of Open Records within 15 business days of the mailing date of the denial letter.
