Communications Policy

The Pennsylvania State Constable’s Office Nazareth – Lehigh Valley, is committed to open and effective communication with the public. This policy outlines the acceptable methods of communication and important considerations when interacting with our office.

While we may engage with the public on social media platforms or through general website contact forms, these are not considered official channels for formal communication, legal notice, or service.
Social Media: Messages, comments, or posts on our social media pages are not monitored 24/7 and do not constitute official legal notice or service, nor can they be considered formal public comment or requests under the Right-to-Know Law. Please refer to our Social Media Policy for more details.

3. Call Monitoring and Recording
For quality assurance, training purposes, and to ensure accurate record-keeping, please be advised that all incoming and outgoing calls to and from the Pennsylvania State Constable’s Office Nazareth – Lehigh Valley may be monitored or recorded. Recorded calls may be retained for a minimum of fifteen (15) days, with no maximum retention period unless otherwise required by law or official policy.

In the performance of official duties, personnel of the Pennsylvania State Constable’s Office Nazareth – Lehigh Valley may utilize body-worn cameras to capture and record video and audio. These systems are used to capture audio and video during official interactions and incidents, in strict compliance with all applicable Pennsylvania laws and internal office policies. Such recordings may be retained for a minimum of fifteen (15) days, with no maximum retention period unless otherwise required by law or official policy.
6. Service of Legal Process
For the proper and legal service of any legal documents, summons, complaints, subpoenas, or other official court papers intended for the Pennsylvania State Constable’s Office Nazareth – Lehigh Valley or its personnel, you must utilize established legal procedures.
